Guy From Spacehog FTW!

OK this is a little weird...

You may remember a while back, when the boys in Velvet Revolver dropped singer Scott Weiland like a sack of potatoes after in-fighting between the members, that we ran a little poll asking you the listener who should be the next singer for the band.

We gave you some options: Chris Cornell, Axl Rose, Sebastian Bach, Jerry Cantrell, Duff McKagan, Josh Todd, Brett Scallions, Mark Lanegan and literally "the guy from Spacehog". We didn't even bother using his name because it was just a little joke between some of the K-Rock promotions/programming staff.

Well lo and behold, look at what has surfaced today via MTV News:
Former Spacehog singer Royston Langdon, actress Liv Tyler's recently estranged spouse, reportedly is a front-runner for the gig after several "successful jam sessions" with the supergroup in Los Angeles. "They all got along great," says an unnamed insider. "It was really a refreshing change for the band." VR management would only confirm that the group is still auditioning prospective singers.

Um... wow!

We like to think that Slash and the rest of the fellas in VR like to sit down at the end of a long night, pop open a nice bottle of wine and read through K-Rock's Music News for information and maybe even a chuckle or two.
