The Smashing Pumpkins will celebrate their 20th anniversary this year and they will do so with some special shows and a brand new DVD.
It will be a documentary about their Fillmore residency shows last year as they promoted their 12-versions-of-one-album known as Zeitgeist.
Billy says they also hope to have a new Pumpkins single out by the fall and a new album out in early 2009. The guys will play a series of 20th anniversary shows this fall in New York, LA and Chicago. Stay tuned for dates.
