Nik Carter ('kar-tur)
Weekdays 9AM-12PM
Nik Carter studied acting at NYU where he was practically expelled from the drama program for blowing off acting classes regularly to hang out at the radio station everyday. After years of doing the afternoon shift in Boston, mornings in Providence and a nationally syndicated show called "Nothing Sacred", he landed back here in NYC at 92.3 K-Rock.
When not on the air, Nik puts his acting degree to work doing voice overs for commercials. Recently he’s been the voice of a baseball with a bad Boston accent in a Sony PSP commercial, a talking suitcase, and a dancing pop tart. (Seriously, we couldn't make this stuff up!)

Boston!
Yeah , yeah, I know, I know! BOO... HISS!
The worst question to ask a true music fan because there are just too many to limit to a few favorites! I’ll just say I listen to everything from Anthrax to Bad Brains to Coldplay. Prince is God, Trent Reznor is a close second.
-Godfather Trilogy
-Wall Street
-Glengarry, Glen Ross
-Traffic
-Basquiat
-Strawberry Fields, Central Park
Nuff said, much respect!
-Hollywood Diner 16th and 6th
One day they will name a burger after me, OH YES THEY WILL!
-Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum
I once spent an hour there trying to make the J-Lo statue blush, Oh yeah! Mission accomplished.
Hangin’ with my dog, boxing with my trainer, anything that allows for the consumption of adult beverages.
Anything you’re buying, but generally speaking: Jack and Diet Coke.
Anything fruity that comes with an umbrella!
-Woodstock 99 (my ears are still ringing!)
-Rage Against the Machine and Wu Tang Clan (RIP ODB)
-Nine Inch Nails/David Bowie
-Public Enemy and Anthrax
-Pearl Jam and Ben Harper
You know they’re great shows when you can barely remember the dates or the venues!
