The New York band The Strokes plan on regrouping in February 2009 to begin work on their fourth album. Billboard spoke to drummer Fabrizio Moretti who says they are all still pals and plan on “noodling around and stuff” next year.
Most of the band members are currently working on solo projects and Moretti just released a new record with his band Little Joy.
Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi makes an appearance on the effort as does Moldy PeachAdam Green.
Moretti says he hopes to continue with Little Joy even after The Strokes reunite.

Stone Roses to Reunite in 2009
Well, it’s rumored that bassist Gary “Mani” Mounfield has convinced the Stone Roses to reunite! Singer Ian Brown is the last hold-up, and he's just announced a solo album set for this summer. Either he'll be real busy or there will be some disappointed Roses fans.
