Ex-Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan must miss working with his former GN’R bandmate Izzy Stradlin because the two collaborated on Stradlin’s upcoming album.
In a post on his Web site, Duff-Loaded.com, the rocker revealed, “I got to play on Izzy’s new record [on April 22nd] in Ojai [California].” McKagan went on to write, “Another stellar outing by that dude, I must say. Always a pleasure hanging out with that guy: a true gentleman.”
No word on when Stradlin’s album is due out, but McKagan is keeping busy playing both in Velvet Revolver and his side project, Loaded, which he hints will tour overseas late this summer, soon after they release their new, yet-to-be-titled album.
