• TV Show About Anthony Kiedis’ Life In The Works
If you know a thing or two about Anthony Kiedis, then you know he had a pretty wild childhood, and now he’s working with HBO on a series based on his interesting past.
Variety reports that he is developing the TV show, which is currently named Scar Tissue, after the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 1999 hit song of the same name. Much of the show will focus on Kiedis’ father, who sold drugs and partied with rock stars as Anthony grew up.
He spoke to Variety about his dad, saying that although his father introduced him to the arts, he also exposed him to adult matter that he wasn’t capable of digesting at a young age. The Red Hot Chili Peppers singer is in regular contact with his dad about the project.
Kiedis is also debating whether to narrate the program.
