Catch Up With Green Day

Green Day haven’t announced when their next album will come out, but it looks like a world tour is on its way.

Clicking on the Tour section of GreenDay.com takes you to an empty page that simply reads: “World Tour Coming Soon.”

• Catch Up With Green Day

Green Day
continue to taunt their fans.

The guys have posted yet another video clip to YouTube from the studio that shows Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt working on guitar and bass parts for the new record. Producer Butch Vig also makes another appearance.

Here's the clip:

Still no word as to when we’ll be hearing the follow-up to American Idiot, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

• Green Day Get New Site Up And Running

Green Day are currently working on their new album with producer Butch Vig, but there is still no word on when we’ll hear the new music.

One good sign comes in the form of their Web site. Fans who head there now will see that the band have a new page up and running, which usually means we’ll be hearing more from the band soon. Check out the “News” section of GreenDay.com to see for yourself.

Green Day’s multi-platinum selling album American Idiot was released back in 2004.

Butch Vig is best known as the man who produced Nirvana’s Nevermind, but also drums for Garbage.

------------------

A few weeks back, Green Day offered fans the first taste of their as-yet-untitled upcoming album with a new clip on the YouTubes of front-man Billie Joe Armstrong working on some new tracks in the studio. Garbage drummer Butch Vig is also shown briefly, confirming his status as the disc's producer.

Here's the video in all it's glory:
