The re-formed Blind Melon with Travis Warren as singer is no more.
There are, as you could imagine, conflicting tales over the split, but there are two indisputable facts: the vocalist is out and the band’s upcoming tour has been canceled.
Warren maintains that his throat was bothering him and he was unable to go out on the jaunt. He claims the rest of the group kicked him out and replaced him. Meanwhile, the band insists that they were patient with Warren’s voice issues, but that he wasn’t taking proper care of his instrument. Then, he apparently went AWOL.
The tour has since been scrapped because the substitute singer could not learn the songs in a mere two days.
